Ten years after their first Live recording “Live at O’Reilly’s Volume 1" Shanneyganock are back with a NEW Live recording “Live on George Street”. This recording is bigger and better than their first as they have honed their stage show through hundreds of performances all over North America.
Their “Live” show was recorded and has now been edited and released on DVD..
Each Shanneyganock show is packed with the songs that the band (Chris Andrews - guitar & vocals, Mark Hiscock - vocals, accordian, banjo & mandolin, Bob Pike - bass & vocals, Billy Sutton - drums & vocals) love to perform and reflect the love and passion they have for their home province of Newfoundland & Labrador.
Many of the songs on “Live on George Street” haven’t been previously recorded by Shanneyganock (Long Long Ago, Great Big Sea, Mussells In The Corner, Three Jolly Rogues, Dark As A Dungeon, Squid Jigging Ground) as well as songs which were written by Chris Andrews “The Roaming A, B, C’s” and Mark Hiscock “The Boys Of St. John’s”. Also included in this live DVD is the very popular ”Grey Foggy Day” written by Eddie Coffey.
